Maya Goded

Cádiz. 13 - 17 June 2005 - CÁDIZ

This workshop is designed for advanced photographers who wish to broaden their personal technic and visual style adding an emphasis to environmental portraiture. The principle objective is to create a body of work made up of strong individual images. Each participant will be encouraged to develop his or her own photographic language and to search for the invisible thread that ties the images together.

With C·diz and her people as a subject, Maya will help participants improve their ability to see, experiment, and create new portraits of people and place.

Participants will be encouraged to look at their own work more critically, and also to appreciate and discuss not only theirs but other people’s work as well, allowing them to build a new visual vocabulary.

Each evening there will be a film drop. The film will be taken to a professional lab where it will be processed and made ready for the class session the next morning.
By the end of the five-day workshop each participant will have produced a strong series of images to take away with them.
