This workshop has been developed as part of Moving Walls: A Documentary Photography Exhibition. An international exhibition curated and sponsored by the Open Society Institute, a private operating and grantmaking foundation based in New York City.  

Coinciding with the documentary photography exhibition Moving Walls International in February 2007 and in collaboration with The Arab Image Foundation, Gary Fabiano will teach a five-day production workshop for 12 local photographers at the Espace SD in Beirut. The aim of this photography workshop is to help connect young-up-and-coming photographers with established professionals and immerse the them in a dynamic learning experience in which they are encouraged to develop their own eye and think and work like professionals. At the same time we hope to lay the foundation for a network of photographers, national and international, interested in dialogue and exchange.
