This workshop has been developed as part of Moving Walls: A Documentary Photography Exhibition. An international exhibition curated and sponsored by the Open Society Institute, a private operating and grantmaking foundation based in New York City.  

Coinciding with the documentary photography exhibition Moving Walls International in May, the internationally acclaimed photojournalist Edward Grazda will be running a five-day production workshop for 12 local photographers at the Al-Riwaq Gallery in Manama. The aim of this photography workshop is to help connect young-up-and-coming photographers with established professionals and immerse the them in a dynamic learning experience in which they are encouraged to develop their own eye and think and work like professionals. At the same time we hope to lay the foundation for a network of photographers, national and international, interested in dialogue and exchange.

The photographs made during this workshop will be hung on the Al-liquindoi gallery
