Aleppo Gallery

Samar Kerio was born in Syria in 1981. She is a graduate from the Aleppo Business College. Samar has been painting for eleven years. She attended a four-year painting program with Neemat and Bashir Badawi and participated in four exhibitions with her work. Recently Samar began to be interested in photography and she started attending classes with Issa Touma at the Le Pont Organization. Her interest in photography grows as her knowledge and experience of the medium increases. For the workshop, Samar chose to photograph a textile factory.   "Threads" is a look at daily life inside and outside the factory.
