Aleppo Gallery

Mohamad Blanko was born in Aleppo in 1973.    He works full time in the textile business as a fabric trader.   He has been fond of photography since he was young but only started taking it seriously when he signed up for a course with Issa Touma at the Le Pont Organization.   Inspired by the medium he hopes to continue with photography and turn it into a profession rather than just a hobby. During the workshop Mohamad chose to photograph in the public parks, interested in the different faces and situations he found there. His project "Same Place, Different Faces" portrays life in urban the green space.
