Aleppo Gallery

Leen Kayyali was born in Aleppo in 1983. She studies Architecture and English Literature at the University of Aleppo. Since very young she has been interested in art. She worked as a graphic designer and cartoonist for one year until she left her job to return to her studies. Leen started photographing just recently, learning about the medium using both digital and film. During the workshop Leen chose to photograph her brother and two cousins.   Between the ages of 10 and 13, they are three young boys whose interests and daily life is much the same as many others their age around the world. The title of her project is "Cousins".
