Lebanon Gallery

Diane Aftimos graduated in 2000 with a degree in photography from Saint Esprit de Kaslik University in Lebanon. Since then she has working mainly as a advertising and fashion photographer. She also works with documentary photography, covering subjects like the Palestinian refugee camps, street children and women. Before the July war she began a project on the effects of war and conflict on Lebanese society, a project she is continuing today. For the workshop Diane choose to focus on the environment, searching out trees in the cityscape that are being suffocated.
