Dubai Gallery
Amaresh Bhaskaran was born in Mumbai, India, in 1980. He received an advanced diploma in photography from the University of Perth, Australia. In 2002 he began work as staff photographer for the Khallej Times in Dubai. He currently works as a freelance commercial photographer in Dubai. For his workshop project, Amaresh chose to look at his "backyard", documenting the industrial area near his home in Sharjah.
