Christopher Anderson

Christopher Anderson was born in Canada in 1970.

In 2000, he received the Robert Capa Gold Medal for his photographs of Haitians immigrants trying to sail to America. In 2001, he was awarded the Kodak Young Photographer Award for a story about the young stone throwers in Gaza. That same year he also received the Visa d'Or at Visa Pour l'Image in Perpignan, France for photographs of Afghan refugees in Pakistan.

Anderson joined the VII photo agency in 2002 and in 2005 he became a nominee for Magnum. He is based in New York.
